I went to brazil. And it was really great. You should really try when you have the chance. But keep in mind mean temperatures in January are 32°C. Don't complain that I didn't warned you.

The State of São Paulo is the economic heart and the most important industrial center of South America, enclosing an area of 247.898 km2, its inhabitants are called paulistas. The Beaches of São Paulo

The best beaches of the State are next to Santos. In the northern direction, Guarujá, Caraguatatuba, Ubatuba and others; in the southern direction, Praia Grande, Itanhaém, Peruíbe, Iguape and Cananéia. As melhores praias do Estado estão próximas de Santos. Na direção norte, Guarujá, Caraguatatuba, Ubatuba e outras; na direção sul, Praia Grande, Itanhaém, Peruíbe, Iguape e Cananéia.

Peruibe

One of the most beautiful cities of the Brazilian coast, Peruibe is situated at the southern coast of São Paulo. The city is known as the "Vestibule of the Juréia" which offers to whoever is visiting it, excellent options of leisure, feeding and natural wonders, these are only found here, certainly worth a visit, in my humble opinion. Uma das mais belas cidades do litoral brasileiro, Peruibe localiza-se no litoral sul de São Paulo. A cidade conhecida como o "Portal da Juréia" oferece a todos que a visitam, ótimas opções de lazer, alimentação e maravilhas naturais só encontradas aqui, venha nos visitar.

Peruibe - The Beach

With numerous beaches (approx 22.000mts.) even some virginal and abandoned, Peruíbe is known for keeping its beaches always as clean as possible, and in function of the Mountain ranges of the Itatins also always ozonized. Practically all have free access and express a beautiful inigualavel. Com um grande número de praias (aprox. 22.000mts.) sendo algumas delas virgens e desabitadas, Peruíbe se destaca por manter suas praiais sempre limpas, e em função das Serras dos Itatins também sempre ozonizadas. Praticamente todas tem acesso livre e expressam uma beleza inigualavel.

Peruibe - Praia do Guaraú

Located near the south of Peruíbe, it has its source just next to the lines of the Guaraú, Guararetama and Lage Grouper, that together with mountains and coastlines, more to the south, gives uneven beauty to it. To the south, the beach is interrupted by the river Guaraú. The beach, by itself is something to embrace the nature lovers. Its calm and clean waters, totally without pollution, have been the main reason for a seabath as well as the landscape offered by the nature, strengthen the interest for visiting and it enjoys a tourist mass. It was in this coastline, that more than four hundred years ago, installed the merchant and dealer of the indians, Pero Corrêa, a converted Jesuit (coming from Jewish), for the Company of Jesus, he became a new Christian. Localizada ao sul de Peruíbe, tem a sua fonte bem próxima às linhas do Guaraú, Guararetama e Lage Garoupa, que junto com as montanhas e costões, mais ao sul, lhe emprestam ímpar beleza. Ao sul, a praia é interrompida pela foz do rio Guaraú. A praia, por si só já é algo para extasiar os amantes da natureza. Suas águas calmas e limpas, totalmente sem poluição, tem sido o principal motivo para o banho de mar bem como toda a paisagem oferecida pela natureza, reforça o interesse para visitação e mais desfrute de uma massa turística. Foi neste trecho praiano, que ha mais de quatrocentos anos atrás, instalou-se o mercador e traficante de índios, Pero Corrêa, um judeu convertido que por ação dos jesuítas, da Companhia de Jesus, converteu-se num cristão novo.

Peruibe - Prainha

Also known as Peninsula, it can be reached through the road initially paved leaving Peruibe in direction of the Guaraú and further down without any type of pavement, condition of the access is to organize the passers-by in the sunny days. Near this beach, there exist at least, two waterfalls, one of them with artificial resources, for a shower after taking the sun or a swim in the sea. Também conhecida como Península, atingida através da estrada inicialmente pavimentada que sai de Peruibe com direção ao Guaraú e posteriormente, por um trecho sem qualquer tipo de pavimentação, condição do acesso é tida como regular transitável, em dia não chuvoso. Nesta praia, existem pelo menos, duas cachoeiras, uma delas com recursos artificiais, para uma ducha após o banho de mar ou de sol.

Peruibe - Prainha

Its coast in the shape of a peninsula, offers comfort for stroll and fishes fans. The Panoramical view for the little beach and the its coastline is something exclusive for the whole region. From there you can see the city of Peruibe and the border of Itanhaém. You can also see the islands of Peruibe, the Guaraú, Guarartema, Boquete, Burnt, Small and Great (Island of Cobras), beyond the Lage of the Parnapuã. The islands of Peruibe and Guaraú, are just next to the continent. The island of Boquete, and the coast of Guaraú, Arpoador and Parnapuã, are the most eyecatching views, that the little beach, to whoever arrives there. Seu costão na forma de península, lançada ao mar, oferece comodidade para passeio e pesca amadora. A panorâmica proporcionada pela prainha e seu costão, é algo inesquecível e talvez sem precedentes na região. De lá avista-se toda a cidade de Peruibe e limites de Itanhaém. Também pode se avistar as ilhas de Peruibe, do Guaraú, Guarartema, Boquete, Queimadas, Pequena e Grande (Ilha das Cobras), além da Lage do Parnapuã. As ilhas de Peruibe e do Guaraú, estão bem próximas do continente. A ilha do Boquete, e os costões do Guaraú, Arpoador e Parnapuã, são prendas panorâmicas, que a Prainha oferece, a quem lá chega.

Next to the coast of the Little Beach, you can find a rock construction, featuring a castle and a military fort. To pass the day in the Little Beach, is a recommendation that cannot be rejected; there the sea is calm and with clean waters, confirming the good qualities of the beaches. Ainda, por sobre os costões da Prainha, temos uma construção de pedras, encenando um castelo e ou fortificação militar. Passar o dia na Prainha, é uma recomendação que não pode ser rejeitada; ali o mar é calmo e com águas limpas, confirmando as boas qualidades do praias.

Horto Florestal - Parque Estadual de Campos do Jordão

With an area of 8.300 hectares of preserved nature, with centennial araucárias, walking tracks, diversified fauna, picnic areas, the State Park of Campos of the Jordão, also known as Horto Florestal, is one of the most famous touristic points of the city. Com uma área de 8.300 hectares de natureza preservada, com araucárias centenárias, trilhas para caminhadas, fauna diversificada, áreas de piqueniques, o Parque Estadual de Campos do Jordão, também conhecido como Horto Florestal, um dos pontos turísticos mais famosos da cidade.

The Islands - Ilha Bela

Two islands must be known in the coast north: Island of São Sebastião and the Beautiful Island. Ilhabela is the biggest Brazilian maritime island, is also one of the most visited points of the São Paulo coast. Duas ilhas devem ser conhecidas no litoral norte: Ilha de São Sebastião e a Ilha Bela. Ilha Bela sou a maior ilha marítima brasileira, é também um dos pontos mais visitados do litoral paulista.

Known as the capital of the candle, the island has more than 300 waterfalls and 14 mountains with altitudes that vary from 600 to 1300 meters. Everything stays intact between the two major centers of the country, São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro. As if it was not enough, it honours desert beaches and isolated fishing communities like Bonete, in total 43 beaches. Conhecida como a capital da vela, a ilha tem mais de 300 cachoeiras e 14 montanhas com altitudes que variam de 600 a 1,3 mil metros. Tudo isso intacto entre os dois maiores centros do país, São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro. Como se não bastasse, oculta praias desertas e comunidades de pescadores isoladas como a do Bonete, num total de 43 praias.
